20 vegetable smoothies you'll want to make
Vegetable smoothies are the quickest and healthiest snack for every day. This is something between a fresh juice and a cocktail. All the ingredients are simply interrupted in a blender, but the main thing here is to combine the products correctly. And our selection of recipes will help you with this!
1. Cucumber and Celery Smoothie
A real lifesaver for anyone on a diet.
You will need: 1 cucumber, 2 stalks of celery, 1 tsp. lemon juice, 3 sprigs of parsley, 50 ml of water, spices.
Preparation: Peel the cucumber from the skin and cut the stems of the parsley. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend smoothie until smooth.
2. Vegetable smoothie with celery leaves
Most often, the stems are used for smoothies. But not at this time!
You will need: 100 g carrots, 200 g celery leaves, 100 g bell peppers, 300 g tomatoes, 40 g parsley leaves, 200 ml orange juice, 1 tsp. grated ginger, water.
Preparation: Clean and randomly cut all the ingredients. Remove the skin from the tomatoes. Send the vegetables and herbs to a blender, blend, pour in the orange juice and blend the smoothie again. Add water as needed.
3. Carrot and Celery Smoothie
Delicious, fragrant, rich in vitamin C and useful trace elements.
You will need: 3 stalks of celery, 1 carrot, 1 apple, 1 orange, 1 tsp. honey.
Preparation: Peel the apple and remove the middle. Squeeze the juice from the orange. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
4. Tomato smoothie with basil
Don't be surprised by onions in smoothies. This is delicious!
You will need: 2 tomatoes, 1 bell pepper, 500 ml of kefir, 1 purple onion, 3 garlic cloves, 4 basil leaves, half a bunch of parsley.
Preparation: Cut the stems from the greens, peel the tomatoes and send everything to a blender. Shake vegetables, add kefir and shake smoothie again.
5. Zucchini vegetable smoothie
You can make smoothies with cucumber, but with zucchini it turns out more original.
You will need: 300 g zucchini, 1 clove of garlic, 300 ml of kefir, 6 sprigs of herbs, 2 sprigs of mint, spices
Preparation: Remove the stems from all greens and chop them in a blender with garlic. Add chopped zucchini, kefir and spices to taste, and beat again.
6. Smoothies with carrots and spinach
Both ingredients are fairly common on their own, but rarely seen together.
You will need: 2 carrots, 1/2 mango, 2 bunches of spinach, 120 ml of water.
Preparation: Wash and dry the spinach, randomly chop the mango and grate the carrots. Place all ingredients in a blender, add water and blend into a smoothie.
7. Carrot Ginger Smoothie
Be sure to add spices - cinnamon, cloves, hot peppers.
You will need: 2 carrots, 1 apple, 1 tbsp. grated ginger, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 200 ml of cold green tea, 1 tsp. honey.
Preparation: Rub the apple and carrot on a grater. Put all the ingredients in a blender, pour in green tea and beat the smoothie until smooth.
8. Smoothie with beets and walnuts
Bright and fragrant vegetable smoothie with distinct Georgian notes.
You will need: 1 beet, 1 carrot, 1 green apple, 50 g walnuts, 150 ml pomegranate juice.
Preparation: Grind the walnuts as finely as possible and grate the beets, carrots and apples. Put everything in a blender, pour in pomegranate juice and whip up a smoothie.
9. Smoothies with carrots and pumpkin
Instead of water, any plant-based milk to taste is also suitable.
You will need: 1 banana, 1 carrot, 250 g pumpkin, 100 g strawberries, 1 glass of ice, 1 tbsp. honey, 150 ml of water.
Preparation: Grate the carrots and pumpkin, peel the banana and wash the strawberries. Send everything except water to a blender and blend. Adjust the thickness of the smoothie with water.
10. Smoothie with kohlrabi and vegetables
Kohlrabi is a type of cabbage rich in beneficial amino acids.
You will need: 1/2 head of kohlrabi, 2 carrots, 2 stalks of celery, 1 pear, 150 ml of water, 1 tbsp. pumpkin seeds.
Preparation: Randomly chop the vegetables and pear, send to a blender and beat until smooth. Add water, whisk again and sprinkle the finished smoothie with pumpkin seeds.
11. Vegetable smoothie with beets and bell peppers
Optionally, you can add one or two more carrots here.
You will need: 1 beetroot, 1 cucumber, 1 bell pepper, 2 celery stalks, 1 tbsp. lemon juice.
Preparation: Peel the beets and cut all the vegetables into medium cubes. Send them to a blender, add lemon juice and beat until smooth.
12. Pumpkin smoothie with oatmeal
For this recipe, the pumpkin needs to be baked or boiled in advance.
You will need: 300 g of finished pumpkin, 200 ml of milk, 3 tbsp. oatmeal, 1 tsp honey.
Preparation: Cut the pumpkin into pieces and beat with a blender with oatmeal and honey. Pour in the cold milk and whisk the smoothie again.
13. Tomato and Carrot Vegetable Smoothie
An appetizing summer smoothie made from fresh vegetables.
You will need: 500 g tomatoes, 2 carrots, 1 apple, 1 tbsp. flax seeds, 2 tbsp. olive oil.
Preparation: Pour boiling water over the tomatoes and peel them. Peel the carrots with an apple, chop everything and put it in a blender. Add flaxseeds and olive oil and blend into a smoothie.
14. Tomato and bell pepper smoothie
For spice, you can take a little more chili pepper.
You will need: 5 tomatoes, 2 bell peppers, 1 tbsp. olive oil, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 sprig of rosemary.
Preparation: Peel the tomatoes, cut them randomly with bell pepper and chop the rosemary leaves separately. Blend everything with a blender until smooth.
15. Smoothie with potatoes and broccoli
By far the most satisfying smoothie option in the selection!
You will need: 250 ml of milk, 250 g of boiled potatoes, 250 g of broccoli, 75 g of hard cheese, 1 clove of garlic, spices.
Preparation: Boil the broccoli florets for a couple of minutes after boiling. Cut the potatoes, grate the cheese, send everything to a blender and chop. Add milk to desired smoothie consistency.
16. Vegetable smoothie with zucchini and celery
You can replace water with kefir or yogurt without additives.
You will need: 1 green apple, 150 g of zucchini, 1 stalk of celery, 4 sprigs of parsley, 150 ml of water.
Preparation: Remove the parsley stalks, peel the apples and put all the ingredients in a blender. Pour in water and blend smoothie until smooth.
17. Smoothie with bell pepper and carrots
For this recipe, carrots can be used raw or boiled first.
You will need: 1 bell pepper, 4 carrots, 1 apple, 500 ml of kefir.
Preparation: Grate the carrots and the apple, randomly chop the bell pepper and beat everything in a blender. Add kefir and shake the smoothie again.
18. Sorrel Smoothie
The sorrel smoothie is quite sour, but very original!
You will need: 1 bunch of sorrel, 1 orange, 2 apples, 120 ml of mineral water, 1 tbsp. flax seeds, 4 mint leaves, 1 tbsp. honey.
Preparation: Grind flax seeds with mint. Squeeze the juice from the orange, add the chopped apples and the rest of the ingredients, send everything to a blender and beat.
19. Tomato smoothie with cauliflower
Spicy lovers can add a little Tabasco to their smoothies.
You will need: 200 g cauliflower, 2 tomatoes, 2 carrots, spices.
Preparation: Peel the tomatoes from the skin, and boil the cauliflower for 3 minutes in boiling water. Place all ingredients in a blender, blend smoothie and season to taste.
20. Broccoli and Spinach Vegetable Smoothie
Add some lemon juice or honey of your choice.
You will need: 1/2 head of broccoli, 1 apple, 3 handfuls of spinach, 4 sprigs of mint, 50 ml of water.
Preparation: Divide the broccoli into florets and beat separately in a blender. Add the rest of the ingredients and water, and beat the smoothie again until smooth.
